And finally I've the mood to blog.I built my own coffin, and jumped straight into it;And I don't question cause it's too late to regret.____________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Bus Shelter

Laughter and jokes could be heard from the corridor. The group of friends in the pantry nearby was sure having fun. High, lows…whatever, they sure were enjoying every moment of it.
The clock clicked four.
It was time for them to go.
They picked up their bags and strolled out to the main road together. One by one, they said their goodbyes. Handshakes, hugs…the group just seemed unseparateable from afar. They walked on and on, while one by one each group member took their leave.
Finally, they were at the cross junction. “Bye Sherlyn! Bye Dennis! Bye Jacob! Bye Andrew!” the goodbyes from their darling group mate echoed in their minds. Questions started popping up in their minds. They were unsure of what to do. Well, it’s the four of them left again. They wonder what they can do and what they should do. But, minutes passed and no one said a word.
They just walked on.
Upon reaching the bus stop, they took their spots. Left, right, up, down. Every one took their places and did their matters. They behaved like complete strangers, as though they never knew each other. Well, maybe they really never did. They just pretended that they did. The lies…the many lies that she told…the many things that she did…well, all these stopped their relationships, hurt their relationships, and there they were, back to square one, before they knew one another.
Things started going on in each of their minds.
He wondered if it all matters. Part of him wanted very much to just speak up, to talk, to break the silence. Yet the other part of him is preventing him from doing so. He does not know what to say, what to do. He feels rooted to the ground. His mouth formed the words but his voice never spoke them. He does not know what to do.
At the other extreme of the shelter, he, too, was thinking the same things. Memories flashed back in his mind. He wanted to talk. He wanted the situation to better. Yet when he stared at her, animousity accumulated up within him. Why did she do all this? Why did all these happen? He didn’t understand her decisions, he didn’t get it. He loved her, he gave her his whole, yet all these happened. Well, it was all over. He hates her now. Maybe not hate, but certainly not love.
This message seemed to have miraculously been sent to the other side of the bus stop. The turmoil of guilt burned within her. She knew it was all her fault, yet she did not dare to speak up. Guilt overwhelmed her. Her pride was the matter. She did not dare to speak the truth. She did not dare to say sorry, well, till it was too late anyway, too late for the wounded heart to be mended. She felt extremely apologetic then. But she knew that nothing that she’s going to say would help matters. So she shut up, and lived her life. Well, they had their own happy lives to live anyway. Or so she thought.
At that moment, the bus arrived. His bus arrived. He stepped up, and as a matter of courteousy, turned around and waved his byes. He was probably the only one that didn’t thought about those matters at the shelter anyway. His mind was on her, and her only. His one and only her. The her that he would meet when his bus arrived at the stop. And so he left..on his bus, away to meet her.
And the thoughts of everyone else stopped as well. For that moment. They were all on their own bus journeys to their own happy lives. Whether they still remember that moment in the bus shelter would be known in the future.
And so they all moved on; As strangers…
